Final Contents Page

Below is my final contents page. There has been many changes in this final piece compared to my previous contents pages. I have committed to a house style which has remained consistent throughout the whole of my magazine. My contents page, as you can see, has been spread across 2 pages which stops it looking packed compared to how it looked on previous contents pages. I feel my overall contents page looks clear, attractive and the audience can easily find what they want to look for.

Final Front Cover

This is my final front cover. The biggest changes I feel, compared to my previous front covers, is the title block and the overall layout. The way the anchorage text stands out on the page and the supporting text, which has been placed on top of the anchorage text, looks bold which represents the artists themselves.

Final Double Page Article

This is my final double page article. What I like the most about this page is the way the article itself fits around the image. This is similarly done by professional magazines.

New title block

This title block was my original title block and had used originally in my magazine. However, I wasn't fond of it after a while and decided to go for another one.
Instead of going on the website 'dafont' where I originally made all my title block on, I went through the different fonts available on photoshop and chose what I thought was a better one. The one issue I had with this title block was it was too dull in terms of colour. At this point when I was using this title block, my front cover was looking a bit bland and lacked colour.

This is my new title block. The reason why I like this title block compared to the other one is because it's more bold and it stands out nicely amongst my front cover. I decided to make the 'B' red because it goes with my house style and it's eye-catching. After using this title block, I was able to make my magazine more appealing as I had something to work with.

Contents Page Plan

Below is the plan for my contents page.

I had made a previous contents page (which is shown in a previous post) but it came across squashed and so I thought it would be better to make the contents page across a double page. By doing this, I would have space to arrange the page and also I had added an extra section, 'regulars'.
